Rail Parks

What the heck is a railpark?
Railparks are disused railway lines that have been set aside for recreational use with the rails left in place rather than being torn up. At a railpark you will find human powered rail vehicles available for rent to explore the rail park.

What is the ride like?
The best way to describe it is as if you're riding on very smooth glass! There is no balancing, no steering and the ride is easy. Unlike roads and highways a railroad follows the natural contours of the land and the grades are minimized which makes for easy riding.

There are rail parks all over the world!
