Shipping

Once your items are in possession of a shipping service Railriders LLC is no longer in control of them, therefore we can not be held liable for issues that arise during shipment. We are not responsible for delays, damage, incorrect delivery addresses provided during the checkout process, misdelivery, package theft, loss of revenue or any other issues that should arise after a shipping service is in possession of your items. We do our very best to ensure that your items are packaged well but it is ultimately up to the shipping service to ensure that they are handled and cared for properly during transit.

Shipping Charges

The customer is ultimately responsible for any and all shipping costs unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by a representative of Railriders.net™.

Railriders.net™ will not honor requests for order cancellations due to failure to consider shipping expenses prior to purchase.

Physically Large Items

For large orders such as but not limited to frame kits, rail bike kits, completed rail bikes, Ron’s Rider series units, Railpark series units shipping will be charged when construction is complete. Shipping rates are always changing and this helps us to get you the very best deal.

Domestic Shipping

We proudly use the United States Postal Service as our primary method of shipping. We have found USPS to not only be the most cost effective method of shipping for our customers but also to be the carrier which offers the highest quality customer service. Most customers in the USA will see a transit time of 3-5 business days once USPS is in possession of your order.

Freight Shipping

Some of our products are VERY large! Unfortunately this facilitates the need to utilize truck freight which can be expensive. We partner with several LTL trucking companies to get you the best possible rates for shipping. Customers with a commercial address featuring a loading dock and forklift will receive lower rates.

International Shipping

Railriders.net™ proudly ships worldwide. USPS is our carrier of choice for international shipments of smaller components and wheels. For larger shipments requiring freight we partner with several different companies that cover large sized international shipments. Depending on the destination country shipment times may be longer and the customer is responsible for all customs fees and charges.

Local Pick Up

Railriders.net™ offers the option of local pick up. Local pick up must be selected at time of check out and a minimum of 5 business days notice must be given to a representative of Railriders.net™ to facilitate pick up.

Orders not picked up within 90 calendar days are subject to order abandonment policy.

Return Policies

Returns

Railriders.net™ will gladly accept returns of non special order items within 10 days of the date of receiving your items. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and unfortunately shipping and freight charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for all shipping and freight charges to return products to Railriders.net™. Railriders.net™ only accepts the return of undamaged and unused items in a condition eligible to be resold. Items that prove to be used, mishandled or damaged will not be accepted for return with the customer being responsible for return shipping charges.

Returns of Special Order Items

Railriders.net™ products which are not normally stocked in inventory are considered “Special Order” and are therefore NOT eligible for return.

Cancellation of Special Order Items

Railriders.net™ products considered “Special Order” are subject to a 40% order cancellation fee. Once principle construction has begun Railriders.net™ will not honor requests for cancellation of special order items.

Order Abandonment Policies

Regularly Stocked Products

Items not picked up or shipped within 90 calendar days of availability are to be considered abandoned. Railriders.net™ will no longer hold items for customer(s) after being considered abandoned. Regularly stocked items will be placed back into inventory and a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from any applicable refund amount.

Special Order Items

Special order items not picked up or shipped within 90 calendar days are to be considered abandoned. Railriders.net™ will no longer hold special order items for customer(s) after being considered abandoned. Special order items shall then be made available for sale. Only after the sale of a special order item has been completed will any potential refund amount be calculated.

ALL special order items considered to be abandoned are subject to a 40% order abandonment fee to be deducted from any applicable refund amount.
