6 Inch Single Flange Guide Wheel
6 inch wheel specifications
Designed as an outrigger guide wheel for railbiking the 6 inch wheel accepts a pair of sealed bearings for an inner bearing diameter of 5/8”. This wheel features a 4” riding surface with a diameter of 6” at the flange.
This wheel is a guide wheel and is designed to rotate freely on its bearings much the same way an inline skate wheel would. This provides no provision for transmitting torque for acceleration or braking forces.
* 5/8" inner bearing diameter and is NOT compatible with the 3/4" RailRider axle!
Currently available only in blue
While these wheels were invented exclusively for railbiking, they will handle lots of weight and have been used in many applications:
* Railbikes
* Rail carts
* Various guide wheel systems including containment lids for nuclear power stations!
* Camera trolley systems
* Grip work in the film industry
* Sold individually *
* Bearings sold separately *
* At this time we are not offering the Railbike outrigger kit *
